Sarah Palin Is Back in the Snooze

Sarah Palin participated in some documentary called How Obama Got Elected that posits, it seems, that the press stole the election? It's always someone, I guess. I mean, there's no way Obama won on his merits or anything, right?

Do we care that the media hurt her feelings when she was running for VP? I thought the only difference between her and a pit bull was lipstick? Shouldn't she be a bit tougher than this - playing victim now that she lost?

Seriously, in this day and age if you don't know that being fresh meat (and I'm not calling a woman meat here so don't even go there) while running for the second highest office in the country means you're going to come under a boatload of scrutiny and snarky internet commentary, really, thank goodieness you did not win.

I'm not saying it's right, but Palin whining about the big bad "liberal media" isn't going to change things... it just makes her look like a sore loser... unless you're a disgruntled Repub, in which case I guess it's a tragedy of Shakespearean proportions that Tina Fey said, "I can see Russia from my house."

Actually, that was kind of priceless. Let's watch it again...

  1. Tina Fey is a genius and I will never tire of that clip. Sarah Palin will be around for a while and will keep whining until someone gives her a job and sends her to Russia. It's just down the street right?

  2. Palin don't speak for this female conservative! She dragged her family into this mess, now she's trying to clean it up!

  3. If you are asking people to let you be a 73-year-old heartbeat away from the presidency, here's a tip, hold a press conference. I mean, like, one. One time. Show us all how smart you are. Or you could avoid the press like the plague, study-up for your soft-lit one-on-ones - flash cards and everything - and still be unable to name the countries in North America.

I know - it was SO UNFAIR when they found that video of you reveling with a bunch of high schoolers about how Adam and Eve were walking around with the dinosaurs... 4000 years ago. You were in church! Off limits! That unfair media, getting to the bottom of things, in cahoots with all those evil scientists. With their unfair "facts." With their 26 million year old dinosaur fossils. They're just being unfair.

Facts have a liberal bias, not the media.

The media ate Pres. Clinton alive - some would say unfairly - and yet his raw intelligence, his aptitude for the job somehow always came thru. Palin happened to come along at a time when people were acutely aware of how harmful it is to have a sh**-for-brains president. Finally.

    Praise Jesus!

***ps: apparently I'm still bitter. apologies***
