"Take it to Katrina!"

Just got home from seeing Clive Owen's new flick Shoot 'em Up. It's priceless. Hilarious. I haven't seen a film this violent in years. I don't know how Clive delivered some of those lines with a straight face but goodness, he is charismatic. I laughed, I covered my eyes, I wish I could kick butt like that. And to the two guys in front of me who talked through half the movie, thanks for shutting up after I threw a Hershey Kissable at you.

I've been trying to stay away from idiot celebrity gossip junk food but I read something today too tasty (and pathetic) not to print. Some recent quotes from an interview with pop sensation Avril Lavigne:

"People love me and people hate me, but I'm comfortable in my own skin and that's what counts. And anyway if you do hate me, you're the loser, not me."

"I am a very giving person. When the hurricane thing happened, I went to my closet, filled six boxes of stuff and said to my assistant, 'Take it to Katrina!' I also like to give stuff to people who are my 'workers,' especially if they don't make much money."

This makes me wish I had a teenage daughter so I had some Avril Lavigne cds around to put through the shredder. What a little insert-word-for-female-dog-here.

Back to Justine vs Venus,

ps. I'm suffering from some fashion fatigue so might take a break from the NY Fashion Week coverage. Also, it seems to have caused my readership to plummet! However, if you've been enjoying it, let me know and I'll keep on keepin' on.
