Apple, I've proudly used your products for the last 21 years. I am one of those annoying people who lives an iLife. However, lately I'm beginning to feel like our relationship is one-sided. You don't return my calls or emails. When you do email, you tell me we can't talk on the phone. I thought I treated you well. I religiously bought your computers, your laptops, your several generations of iPods. What more could I have done? And I was happy with my purchases and told all my friends how great you were. But now that things aren't going so well, you've turned your back on me, ditched me. Bummer, dude. I'm sad that you've become the lesser of two evils, I really am.
I remember the days when customer service existed. I'm old enough to remember when you didn't have to wait six weeks to get an appointment with your doctor. From my wedding dress to my cell phone company to my cable service, I feel like I've spent the last year in an odyssey of "Thanks for giving us lots of your dollars but now that we have them we don't really care much for you anymore."
Instead, the solution now is to give you your money back instead of fixing the problem. I mean, thanks for the money and all but I still need those books I ordered.
Dear readers, I apologize, I never want to be one of those ranting blogger people but, you know, grrr...
Customer service, I miss you!
Ms. P
ps. How lucky I am to have had this shot on hand that I took at my friend Andy's house.
are you really having that much trouble with your apple products? my powerbook had a major meltdown last summer but i called applecare, sent in in, and got it back 3 days later. plus i figure with the new store here it will be even easier to fix any arising problems. i've about realized that i''m going to have to get a new ipod though. as ridiculous as it sounds, my 60G just isn't enough. it used to hold every cd i'd ever owned, but even after deleting my boys II men, gin blossoms, and duran duran cds i still only have about 2.5G left. i just wish they'd make the classic ipods a little more fun before i have to commit to one. i don't really need for it to hold picures and videos, but if they could make them pink and green like the nanos i'd be all about them.
ReplyDeleteLet's just say, "Yes." It's not even worth going into the details of the iMac I bought that's completely crashed 6 times in four months or the iBooks I made where they lost half the order and printed the covers wrong.
